In this project, I am investigating the expression of pictures, that are being changed drastically or even inverted if they are transformed into negatives: A rather unspectacular photo of a high-voltage line becomes a thrilling image in which you might "feel" the electric charge. The head of a willow tree transforms into a mystic cable tree in negative. Dark and frightening entries and alleys become bright and nearly welcoming places. You often ask yourself: Which version is positive and which one is negative in the figurative meaning?
