About me

I am motivated in my photographic work to capture moods, to look behind the facades and to show contrasts as well as traces of time. I am following different subjects: coming from a long period of mostly landscape photography, but nowadays I am capturing more and more cities with their diversity and and liveliness with endless motives of street photography and architecture photography. A special focus during all my work is on textures, patterns and interesting surfaces, which show as a detail sometimes more than the whole view.

I am inspired in my work by:

Andreas Feininger, Jürgen Becker, Andreas Herzau, Edward Burtynsky.

"Amongst all, I know that a photographer cannot be unconcerned for life. An opinion is often regarded as criticism. But you can also criticise out of love. It is important to see what is invisible to others."
