This series shows 16 pictures of buildings in Braunschweig with the street number 40. I created it in 2024 according to the 40th anniversary of the Museum für Photographie. The selection is a mixture of intention and chance: I am choosing the street according to their prominence and their distribution over the city area. The building with street number 40 is then photographed. Thus, the series reflects the variety of architecture within the city of Braunschweig. At the same time, it shows typical residential surroundings of the inhabitants.
